Entertainment here is also good :)
I was flying through Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport, I was impressed by its architecture style:
Here is a place near my hotel in Johannesburg suburb, its build in old Italian style:
And its summer here now, all green:

After BGOUG Autumn' 2008 Conference
Going back home after my session on BGOUG'08 in Bulgaria, Bansko. As usual, delays in airport.
In Bulgaria, I have explained how developers can use ADF Search component and refresh results table together with graph component at the same time. Additionally, I have described how to use ADF Security with wizards and authorize user based on his role.
Here is a sample screen of application I have developed on the fly:

Tomorrow going to Riga for JDeveloper/ADF 11g Masterclass workshop, really busy time... :-)

Good Bye New Orleans - I'm Going Home
Today was my last day in New Orleans, going home tomorrow - yesterday was last day of ODTUG Kaleidoscope'08. I decided to spend some time today for tourism activities and visit New Orleans swamp where alligators live. I was using New Orleans High Speed Airboat tour, it was cool, I recommend it for everyone who will be there. Yes..., alligators also are friendly, sometimes... :-)

Greece in One Day
This time I'm not only providing Oracle Fusion Middleware consulting in Greece, Athens. But doing some active tourism activities as well. If someone will be in Greece, I can recommend to take 1-day Saronic Island Cruise, it will help you to understand this country in short period of time.
I have visited three islands - Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Last one became my favorite one:

Yeah, sometimes it is good to be away from my MacBook ;-)

Athens - Warm and Friendly City
I'm doing some traveling during those weeks. Last week I was in US, Connecticut. This week I'm in Greece capital - Athens. Local people say that it is winter here, but for me it seems like nice Spring :-)

And there are a lot of trees with yellow fruits. Looks like Orange tree? I got advice, that it's better not to try it, because it some kind of wild Orange and not tasty one :-)

Central Norway - Lillehammer City
Today I was doing sightseeing trip to Lillehammer city in Norway. This city is located on the north part of largest lake in Norway - Mjøsa. In the city center, through stones and mountains flows Lågen river. It's not so much water now in the river, but it is typical to Norway. Rivers here are full with water on Spring, when snow goes down from mountains. And yes, it's golden autumn here - yellow leafs are on the ground :-).

Sofia - Beautiful City
On this week I was visiting Sofia, Bulgarian capital. City is a mix of western and eastern culture, this makes it unique and beautiful. Definitely you should find time to visit it, you will have a chance to meet very warm and friendly people ;).
St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, it was built in honour to the Russian soldiers who died during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878. It looks really impressive.

Trip to Finland capital - Helsinki
During this week I was in Helsinki, Finland. City have seen to me very practical, with well developed infrastructure for public sector. I mean, that it seems there is no problems with hotels, restaurants, transport and other services. It's not very cold in Helsinki now, only -4..0 °C, and almost no snow. In the city center they have trams, with advertisements - 'FEEL California, TASTE California', this looks quite interesting in cold Finland ;-)

Architectural style of the city center - broad roads, high buildings, big squares:

It is possible, that there is no terrible traffic jams in the city, because Helsinki have a subway. However, at 8:30 PM subway station hall was quite empty - only one person:

I have noticed, that in Helsinki, Russian culture presence is strong. It feels everywhere - architecture, street names and even souvenirs ;-). Russian souvenirs in Helsinki:

There is Russian culture presence in Helsinki, because Finland was a Grand Duchy of Russia (1809-1917). However, there was The Language Decree issued in 1863 by the Emperor of the Russian Empire Alexander II. It was the beginning of the process through which Finnish became an official administrative language equal to Swedish. In the Senate Square in Helsinki there is the monument to Alexander II "The Liberator":

The same monument, from closer look:

I hope, provided information will be useful, if you will be planning a trip to Helsinki.
